FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Is the dog good with cats or kids?
Ans: We get this question a lot! The answer is we do not know. We can guess by their temperament that they might be good, but we have no way of knowing for sure. The only way to know is to go ahead and schedule a meet & greet and meet them and then take them home and see how things go. We have a two week return policy.
Q. Are your dogs healthy?
Ans: We do the best we can to rehabilitate our dogs to the best of our ability. Our dogs are healthy and have been given extensive medical attention. We have one of the most comprehensive medical care programs of any rescue and have a full time veterinarian on staff and a emergency animal hospital. If a dog is special needs or has a chronic or ongoing medical condition we always will inform potential adopters of this during the meet and greet. We have successfully adopted out dogs with special needs, such as being deaf, blind, or partially paralyzed with great success to wonderful happy homes.
Q. Why do you have an adoption donation?
Ans: It is very expensive to provide rescue and rehabilitation efforts for the dogs we rescue. We have one of the most comprehensive medical care programs of any rescue and have a full time veterinarian on staff and a emergency animal hospital. Medicine, food and care are very expensive. We do everything we can to make sure each dog is happy and healthy. We rely completely on donations and we do not receive any government funding or grants. The adoption fee is a donation that helps us to continue to do the work that we do.
Q. How much is the adoption fee?
Ans: The adoption donation can vary depending on the dog. Please inquire when you fill out the adoption application.
